We are looking for an experienced assembly fitter to join this growing manufacturer based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

You will be working on exciting projects that are distributed globally

The company are happy to train people however some mechanical assembly and hand and power tool experience is necessary to be considered for the role.

This role is offering a starting salary of £11.44ph with a pay review available subject to a successful probationary period.

Overtime is available at increased rates of pay

The company are based in the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk with no public transport links. You would need your own form of transport to get there.


Assembly fitter duties include:

• Assembly of mechanical & electrical components

Strip down, repair, service & overhaul of products
Reading & working from engineering drawings independently
Carrying out regular inspection work to check for any defects.
Testing of products

Keep a clean & tidy workstation You must be proficient with various hand & power tools & have previous experience in a similar workshop capacity if you wish to be considered.

Ideally having worked in a similar production / assembly fitting role.

Standard working hours are 08:00-17:00, Monday-Friday.
