Key Responsibilities:

Proactively manage and maintain the credit control process, including regular review of debtor reports
Contact clients to discuss outstanding invoices and resolve payment discrepancies
Monitor and evaluate credit limits, making recommendations for adjustments as necessary
Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all credit control activities
Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve client queries related to invoices and payments
Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries promptly and professionally
Prepare and send reminder letters, statements, and followup communications as needed
Assist in the development of credit control policies and procedures
Responsible for cash posting, monthly statement runs and direct debit processes
Ad-Hoc duties to support the team

The Successful Applicant:

Previous experience in credit control or a similar financial role
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build positive relationships
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office
A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and best practices
