Key Responsibilities:


  • Proactively manage and maintain the credit control process, including regular review of debtor reports
  • Contact clients to discuss outstanding invoices and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Monitor and evaluate credit limits, making recommendations for adjustments as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all credit control activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve client queries related to invoices and payments
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Prepare and send reminder letters, statements, and followup communications as needed
  • Assist in the development of credit control policies and procedures
  • Responsible for cash posting, monthly statement runs and direct debit processes
  • Ad-Hoc duties to support the team

The Successful Applicant:


  • Previous experience in credit control or a similar financial role
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build positive relationships
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and best practices
