- Providing legal advice on the firm's trading activities including but not limited to OTC derivatives, repo, transactions etc.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of trading documentation with the firm's counterparties.
- Supporting with ad-hoc legal queries from the business.
- Staying up to date regulations pertaining to the transactions you are advising on including EMIR, MiFID etc.
- Frequently liaising with members of the senior stakeholder team
- Liaising with external legal counsel when required.
- Lawyers with 4/5 PQE+ in derivatives/structured products/ sales and trading/ regulatory experience gained in either in-house or private practice.
- Eagerness to undertake a broad role in a growing organisation.

OUR CLIENT:
Our client , a $50bn+ AUM investment manager, is looking to add a 4/5PQE+ Derivatives/Structured products/Sales+Trading lawyer to their markets legal team.
This is an exciting time for a lawyer to join the team as they expand their product offering for their clients. It is also an excellent opportunity if you are looking for an advisory role partnering with senior investment stakeholders and further expand on your skillset outside of purely markets law.
