    Our high profile client is seeking a HR Specialists to join their team based in Farnborough Hampshire (Hybrid) with experience of Irish law and the ability to write policies.

    This dual role aims to contribute to all HR Planning, Steering & Reward topics relevant to the Ireland market, within the HR Planning & Steering function on behalf of the PL-42-UK HR team and the Company UK Group entities it provides HR services for.

    The role is also expected to provide some level of business partnering support to the Lead HR BP for Ireland and the relevant business entities in Ireland.

    The role aids in the achievement of business objectives and strategic aims in relation to all Reward and HR Policy topics through the implementation of a wide range of legally compliant policies and procedures as well as delivering robust reporting, forecast and data to steer leaders and the business as a whole.

    Reward & Payroll
    • Contribute to and support the development of new Reward landscape for Ireland in line with new Reward policies. Management and co-ordination of high profile Reward projects, including market benchmarking, and the creation and roll-out of new tools and Reward solutions in line with new landscape.
    • Support current payroll processes with expert/ market specific knowledge. Research, make proposals for and run project to transition to new payroll solution with outsourced provider.
    • Horizon scanning, create proposals for and support steering of the future reward and remuneration agenda, including future benefits, pensions and total reward proposals.
    • Develop, in conjunction with all Ireland entities and the HR Region, local reward frameworks and policies (including adaptations of Global Reward Policies which a centrally driven); Engage key stakeholders during the appropriate timeframes to gain relevant feedback for full consideration in the finalisation and implementation of such policies, in order to achieve smooth implementation and minimise any unintended consequences or negative perceptions of change. Plan and support implementation activities within the appropriate entities.
    • Provide "expert" support to PL-42-UK team, including operational guidance on in-year remuneration activities, such as acting allowances, pay reviews linked to promotions, external salary offers, localisation offers, etc.

    Policies, Analytics & Systems
    • Create new policies / provide updates to existing policies to support newly implemented legislation and/or internal principles.
    • Advise on, create and update HR policies in line with employment legislation and maintain compliance in the relevant territory and business requirements.
    • Take part in the HR Policy Circle and other relevant working groups representing the PL-42-UK HR team to achieve harmonisation of processes and policies across Ireland and the wider Company Group, where possible.
    • Identify, champion and deliver continuous process improvement initiatives to create and enhance policy framework and increase the knowledge within the business and expand the capability within the HR function.
    • Create and maintain the provision of HR reports which provide clear, highly accurate and appropriate information to the relevant area of expertise.

    Employee Relations
    • Support the HR Business Partner team on some operational HR activities and less complex employee relations cases.
    • Collaborate with and provide relevant updates to the Lead HR BP – Ireland to support management presentations and recommendations to share or seek approval for any business requirements, statutory and regulatory changes, as appropriate.

    General Responsibilities
    • Preparation, analysis, utilisation and presentation of appropriate and relevant data to make proposals for and support the steering of the overall HR Planning & Steering strategies and policies. Analysis and presentation of data and reports to the appropriate area of expertise, identifying trends, spotting errors and advising on solutions.
    • Manages and/or supports HR projects to ensure the function remains fit for the future.
    • Build effective working relationships with key stakeholders within HR and the wider business to proactively drive process and quality improvements.
    • Production and presentation of management summaries of HR Planning & Steering proposals, updates and content for senior management and committees/circles. Support international assignment processes within the HR's scope of responsibility.
    • Responsible for the safe keeping of employee data in line with data protection legislation.
    • CIPD), or equivalent, preferably in a Business / HR related field. CIPD qualification desirableExperience
    • Excellent knowledge of the Ireland market in employment legislation, employee relations, HR policies, processes and reward topics; ideally within automotive and/or financial services sectors.
    • Specialist experience and knowledge of compensation and benefit topics, including remuneration benchmarking methodologies.
    • Knowledge of Company Group & individual site HR Processes and Procedures.
