Functions in our group include safety, project field management, construction management, quality control, start up and decommissioning and field engineering.

    BV Construction has an EpCM Waste-to-Energy project in the Northwich UK area. We are seeking a Project Administrator/Document Control professional who will be responsible for providing support to our project team and management. Selected candidate will have demonstrated proficiency in the project support role, possess broad knowledge of project policies and procedures involving all phases of project execution from bid specifications through project closeout; adapt past project knowledge to the needs of the current project; and have regular contact with clients, suppliers, or company employees outside the immediate work area to exchange information. Ideally we are seeking a local candidate who is available to work 50 hours/week.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plays a significant role in developing and/or administering and communicating project-related policies and procedures
    • Is coordinator of project communications
    • Contributes to the development of other department or company initiatives
    • Frequently interacts with upper management on related project issues, as well as external clients
    • Maintains project calendar
    • May maintain personal calendar for project manager
    • Arranges project-related meetings, travel and/or events
    • Generates or distributes ad hoc reports using various business systems and databases to internal project team
    • Generates simple documents, such as letters and memos
    • Generates more complex documents, such as spreadsheets and presentations
    • Completes complex filing activities such as assigning file numbers, action items, and distribution for project file system
    • Creates expense reports for project team members
    • May verify accuracy of invoices prior to approval
    • May route and track invoices
    • May assign or coordinate work of other support staff, as well as assist with performance management activities
    • Works closely with project management to ensure adequate support is provided

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 5+ years relevant experience required.
    • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
