We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who is focused on clinical excellence and teamwork to join us at Downland Veterinary Group in Chichester.
We have a steady caseload and you will have access to first opinion surgical cases and daytime emergencies alongside consults.
We offer flexible working patterns that flex with you and your lifestyle.Whether you are looking to flex your rota hours to balance the school holidays, fix to navigate the school runs or just looking to strike that balance between home and work life.
Typically a full time position includes a 4-day working week plus some Saturday mornings and the occasional Saturday afternoon.There is no out-of-hours however you will be required to cover 1:9 weeks of inpatient care (Monday to Friday evenings only).

We also have vets with special interests in dermatology, oncology, ECC and dentistry making it an excellent learning environment.Across the group, we have circa 30 veterinary surgeons, a nursing team of 70 and a further 70 support colleagues.
All of our surgeries are extensively equipped and we strive for clinical excellence. At Emsworth we have DR X-Ray, Dental X-Ray, Ultrasonograph, Laparoscopy, Endoscopy, 2 Surgical theatres, capnography and in house Lab. We are well embedded in the local area, having started in 1947.Fantastic outdoor activities are available and yet central London is only an hour away by train with great transport links to Europe.
