    The Brixton site provides flat linen services, chiefly to the hospitality and healthcare sectors. With over 800,000 items processed each week, it is a well-run, well-maintained facility with

    a committed leadership team in place. Internal movement is planned and supported at Elis, and this role has come about due to an internal progression. Elis takes its commitment to its colleagues seriously, supporting career development in every sense.

You will be driven and motivated, able to work at pace, while possessing the confidence to ask for support and consensus when you need it. You'll have the ability to move seamlessly between Board meetings, in which you're analysing and discussing your P&L to the nth degree, and the operational shop floor, where you'll be discussing maintenance schedules for capital equipment. You're used to being across the detail without getting involved in every little thing, supporting your team to make the right decisions. People matter to you, both in terms of their safety and their career development.

    You should be able to demonstrate sound commercial acumen and a successful track record in an equivalent position within a similar industry. You will have experience in a manufacturing or processing environment and should be very comfortable with operational systems and processes, including effective logistics. You will have consistently delivered profitable growth in a demanding business environment.

    2. Solid experience at the strategic level

    You should be qualified to degree level or equivalent and will demonstrate experience of driving performance in a similar role, where high customer service levels are essential to ensure continued success.
