Description

The purpose of this post:

  • Responsible for the supervision, leadership and day to day coordination of the Incident Response / Fire Watch Team, that enables the effective and efficient delivery of clinical and nonclinical services to the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh, and provides a safe working environment for staff, patients and visitors.
  • To provide training and support to the Incident Response and Fire Watch team (IRFW).
  • To assist with evacuation of patients in event of an incident, detect and address any risks to fire safety internally and externally to the RIE hospital and neighbouring buildings.

Shift pattern

  • Band hours 12 hour shifts 5/7 Mon
  • Sun, D/S & N/S
