    Architectural Technician

    Salary Range: £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

    Join this top architectural company specializing in outstanding design solutions for various sectors including large food stores, residential, commercial, retail, healthcare, and education. They are known for their creativity, sustainability, and client satisfaction.

    Do you have experience as an Intermediate or Senior Architectural Technician? We are looking for a skilled individual to fill the role of Senior Architectural Technician in Milton Keynes. In this position, you will be instrumental in creating innovative architectural solutions focusing mainly on large-scale Food Store projects within a collaborative team environment.

    Key Skills, Experience, and Responsibilities:

    • Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
    • Collaborate with architects and designers to enhance design concepts.
    • Conduct site visits and surveys for project information gathering.
    • Interact with external parties like consultants, contractors, and authorities as necessary.
    • Ensure adherence to building regulations, standards, and industry practices.
    • Provide mentorship and support to junior team members.
    • Assist in tender documentation preparation and contract administration tasks.
    • Hold a degree in Architectural Technology or related field.
    • Extensive experience in UK architectural practices focusing on technical detailing and construction documentation.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.
    • Thorough understanding of building regulations, construction methods, and materials.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Membership in professional bodies like CIAT is a plus.
