    Balfour Beatty VINCI is working with a range of organisations to design and build 90km West Midlands stretch of HS- Britain's new high speed railway.

    Our work is essential to enable HS2 trains to travel between London and Birmingham as well as continue their journey up to Manchester.

    It's an incredibly exciting time to join us - we're at peak construction with work really ramping up on a broad range of assets including bridges, tunnels and viaducts.

    This role will be based on site in in Water Orton. Delta Junction will cover a 14 KM stretch within the Water Orton area. Advise, guide and coach all personnel on the project with the implementation of the HSMS.


    • Advise on project compliance with the HSMS and statutory provisions.
    • Maintain the Health & Safety competence matrix
    • Production, review and implementation of the CPP.
    • Review of Risk Assessment and Method Statement
    • Monitoring of the project, trade contractors, designers, suppliers and assisting the Procurement Team
    • Liaison with trade contractors, designers, suppliers, client, enforcement agencies and other relevant parties.
    • Previous experience in Construction Project/Facilities Health & Safety
    • NEBOSH Construction Certificate

    Balfour Beatty VINCI have been awarded a 90km section of the HS2 project from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.

    Overall, we will be building the following across all our sites:


    • Building four motorway crossings requiring box structures
    • Six interfaces with the existing rail requiring both dive-under and overbridge structures
