Finance Director
Bedfordshire (5 days in the office, 1 day per week required in London office)
Up to £120,000 + Bonus & Benefits

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial strategies, policies and procedures to ensure the financial health of the business.
Lead and manage the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to the senior management team to support decision making and drive growth.
Manage relationships with banks, investors and other stakeholders to secure funding and manage risk.
Oversee the financial management of construction projects, including cost accounting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
Monitor and manage the company's financial performance, including identifying and addressing areas of concern and implementing corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with all financial and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors and other advisors.

Requirements:

A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with significant postqualification experience, ideally within the construction industry.
Proven experience as a handson Finance Director or senior finance professional with a track record of success in driving business growth and managing complex financial operations.
Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insight to senior stakeholders.
Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to think strategically to support the growth of the business.
Knowledge of construction industry accounting and project accounting.
