Description
Paradigm Precision specializes in the manufacturing of
complex fabrication and precision machined components for gas turbine engines. We serve customers around the world in
commercial and military aviation, power generation, the marine industry, rotary
wing and unmanned aerial vehicles.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the preparation of work
orders ("Kitting") and movement of material to the proper place on the
production floor.

Responsible for all inventory transaction
accuracy, issuance of all material to work orders and transfer of material
between stock locations (physically and within the Symix system).

Responsible for traceability transactions in
the "Control R" system.

Monitor inventory levels at all finished
goods and stock locations for accuracy. Cycle counting of stock locations according to procedure.

Pull parts for shipment from finished goods
daily.

Work order auditing for inventory
transactions and completion daily.

Job lot splitting and resulting paperwork
accuracy.

Coordinate with planning and operations on
WIP position and "customer critical" parts in support of customer requirements
and changing priorities.

If necessary, attend production and toolbox
meetings to support the daily priorities.


Supervisory Responsibilities:
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.


Qualifications:
Must be self-directed individual with the
ability to coordinate multiple priorities.

Ability to read and understand English

Must be able to effectively communicate with
shop floor personnel and management.

The position requires close attention to
detail, the ability to diagnose and analyze a problem and communicate issues
and solutions to the appropriate person.

Must have basic computer skills and ability
to navigate the MRP system.


EDUCATION

and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent

  • Experience with Symix MRP system,
Control "R" and RMI.

  • Fork truck training preferred but not
required.

  • Training for material coding preferred
but not required.
