Construction Planner - Leeds
My client is a commercial development and construction. Working on everything from major urban regeneration schemes to fitouts and refurbishments.

They build operational facilities, distribution warehouses, retail parks, offices both in city centres andon business parks, residential property, retail, hotels and leisure uses such as cinemas, bars and restaurants.

You will be expected to be able to undertake the below duties -
Key responsibilities

Creating, maintaining, and reviewing a programme of work
Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
Liaising with surveyors, engineers, and architects
Producing progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients and stakeholders
Breaking large jobs down into phases of development
Using project management tools to plan timeframes
Working with estimators to calculate the resources needed for a project
Planning contingency programmes in case timeframes change
Meeting with contractors and suppliers
Demonstrating knowledge of construction
Writing bids for tender
Managing several projects with the support of junior planners
Working between offices and construction sites.

Salary:

Basic £45,000 (depending on experience, but is flexible), car allowance, travel, pension
