Responsibilities
As a Signalling Designer, you'll be working within the Infrastructure Rail team, undertaking signalling detailed design and checking with mínimal rework in accordance with your signalling competency level.
Your day to day will include:
- Undertaking signalling detailed design with mínimal rework in line with your signalling competence.
- Use of Microstation CAD software and hand skills working on older style sepia records.
- Undertaking mentoring and training for other design staff in line with their development plan.
- Maintain IRSE Log book
- Ensure that you comply with Network Standards and Rail Group standards.
What do we need from you?
This role of Signalling Designer is great for you if:
- You have HNC/BSc in Electrical Engineering and IRSE Designer's License
- You have an up to date log book
- You have 5 years signalling design experience
- You'll have a good understanding of the Network Rail design process.
- You'll have a general understanding of Health & Safety legislation CDM 2015
