    The "Product Strategist – Identity and Access Management (IAM)" will play a critical role in the overall Product Management of IAM by defining the Product Strategy, Vision and Roadmaps.

    By developing a deep understanding of both IAM Customer needs and the available capabilities / technologies in the market, the Product Strategist will ensure customer needs are built into the product DNA, and are translated into concepts that can be delivered by our Agile teams (Solution Architecture, Technology Specialists, Compliance & Assurance) delivering measurable business outcomes.

    The Product Strategist (IAM) role is concerned with the entire organisation and its IAM product alignment with business objectives, and is able to develop a high-level view of the organisation's structure, processes, and technology to ensure everything works together cohesively when it comes to IAM strategy enablement.

    IAM Customers in the context of this role includes:

    and external end users of the identity platformdelivery teams who support the end usersOwners who utilise Identity servicesand external governance teams / auditors.

    The scope of this role is global, and includes:
    identity communities – Enterprise (workforce), Business Partners, Customers, Vehicles.identity types – human & non-human accounts (e.g.

    service accounts)identity use cases – privileged and non-privilegedKey Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesThe role holder will: Develop a deep understanding of the group's existing organisational structures, different Identities, enterprise technology ecosystem, IAM technology landscape, process, policies and data across all in-scope communities, identifying pain points and opportunities to improve business outcomes (e.g.

    customer satisfaction, cost, security, functionality)


    Support the Head of IAM to develop a holistic IAM strategy taking into account above points and understanding lifecycle process, provisioning processes across different environments and internal competencies – understanding strength and struggles.

    Engage deeply with relevant stakeholders to ensure IAM strategy and technology decisions support long-term organisational objectives, optimise prioritisation and resource allocation, and manage risks.

    Understand the current and future IAM Customer needs ensuring the IAM Agile Portfolio Strategic themes include the agreed business outcomes and develop a lean execution plan based on a critical path tightly coupled with business risk impact.

    Engage with Head of IAM, CISO and other senior management in digital and LoBs, driving high-level product strategy and technology decisions.

    Capable of reviewing processes and systems but also talking to internal and external stakeholders to discover new opportunities to leverage IAM.

    Identify metrics to provide an evidenced-based narrative on the contribution an opportunity makes to the business and technology aspects of the organisation.

    Design, develop and deliver an enterprise wide IAM enablement roadmap, business alignment plans, and governance frameworks in partnership with Security Assurance.

    Collaborate to create a seamless flow from high-level strategy down to practical implementation working in collaboration with partnering LoB domains, business product owners, enterprise security architects and enterprise architects.

    Collaborate and have governance oversight with the agile team, to ensure that their designs are compatible with the overarching enterprise product strategy and architecture.

    Develop a roadmap for getting from where we are today to our desired end state - packaged, categorised items, clear value outcomes with clarity on investment needed (capital and resource).Ability to gain stakeholder buy-in considering a portfolio-wide, strategic approach to advancing technologies and driving the direction of its investment, rather than simply monitoring the implementation and progress of initiatives.

    Communicate regularly with the agile team, ensuring that solutions designed for specific business ecosystems /products /units are consistent with the IAM product strategy and roadmap.

    Maintain alignment between individual projects and the broader organisational strategy while ensuring that technology decisions are well-informed and supportive of long-term goals.

    Conduct market research and maintain good knowledge of identity technologies and how the risk and capability landscape is evolving which the business needs to stay abreast of and benefit from.

    Bring together different perspectives across our business & technical landscape to develop Identity Product Strategy, Vision and Roadmaps to meet the agreed strategic themes whilst maintaining security and an efficient cost structure.

    Communicate and evangelise the IAM Product Strategy across stakeholders at all levels, ensuring appropriate understanding and engagement.

    Develop the relevant business case which enable the investments to be made which ensure Identity Products meet the customer needs, including functionality, security and compliance.

    prior experience as a subject matter expert within Identity and Access Management, in particular deep technical knowledge of identity management within a technology agnostic IT, IoT and OT spaceknowledge of Identity and Access Management governance principles and best practices and experience in managing information security risk relating to Working in a Product based organisation and defining future strategy in terms of high level Epics and User Stories

    Desirable:
    of working and influencing cross-functionally and managing external agenciesworking knowledge of industry IT compliance standards, particularly in design and implementationof relationship management of senior stakeholdersIT skills, able to analyse data for reporting purposesof identity and access management within a DevOps environment, including API Management platforms, containerisation and in all key cloud platformsand experience in managing Identity and Access within a manufacturing organisationexperience of having worked and Product/Strategic consultant in creating a High Level IAM Strategy for an OEM
