Description

Our client specialises in the design, development and manufacture of handheld testing products and are looking to recruit a Graduate Electronics Technician to join their long-established family run business based in Basildon.

Ideally you will have some "hands on" experience in the manufacture of electronic products to act as the link between R&D and workshop.

The Graduate Electronics Technician will produce and test electronic parts and sub-assemblies including PCB Assembly requiring soldering and crimping to IPC standards
Testing using electronic test equipment such as scopes and multi-meters
Complete final assembly of systems
Create new and update build instructions to latest specification
Repair of electronic systems to component level

Work from d rawings, schematics, electronic assembly equipment and verbal/written instructions to assemble, repair, modify, rework or re-assemble units.

BTEC level qualification in Electronic Engineering or higher
Some experience in Surface mount soldering with knowledge of analogue and digital circuits preferable
Knowledge of PCB electronic component fault diagnosis techniques down to component level desirable
Crimping, soldering and rework skills
25, ,000 depending on experience
~28 days holiday including bank holidays
~5 hours per week Monday to Friday (flexible hours working between 8am and 6pm)
