    Insight and Influence Officer

    Are you passionate about making sure that the voices of children and young people are heard and acted upon? Do you to want to ensure services are developed in partnership with children and young people and better meet their needs?

    The Insight and Influence Team (Children's Services) supports consistent and meaningful engagement with children and young people, gathering data and insight to help us understand their lived experiences and to inform strategic decision making. Working closely with our youth voice groups, you will ensure the involvement of children and young people makes a difference.

    As well as supporting the embedding of good participation practice, this role will support the Greenwich Children and Young People's Council (GYPC), Children in our Care Council and Care Leavers Forum to deliver their priorities and work alongside a team of Young Advisors to embed youth voice in our strategic decision-making.

    You will have experience of working directly with children and young people in a variety of creative ways to gather insight and to influence decision-making. You will champion inclusive and impactful engagement. You will be passionate about ensuring youth voice makes a difference.

    This role will require you to be able to work flexibly including regular evenings and occasional weekends and travel across London and the UK, including overnight visits.
