    Position: Senior Business Analyst - Target Operating Model (TOM)

    Location: Mansfield 1 day a week 4 days work from home

    £440 per day outside ir35

    3 month contract likely to extend

    Job Summary:

    As a Senior Business Analyst specialising in Target Operating Model (TOM), you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives aimed at optimising our organisations operational efficiency and effectiveness. You will be responsible for leading the development, analysis, and implementation of the TOM framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives and facilitating seamless execution across departments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Lead the end-to-end development of the Target Operating Model (TOM) in collaboration with key stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and subject matter experts.

    2. Conduct comprehensive analysis of current business processes, workflows, and organisational structure to identify areas for improvement and optimisation. (Business process mapping has already been done)

    3. Define and document business requirements, functional specifications, and operating procedures necessary for the successful implementation of the TOM.

    4. Design and model future-state processes and capabilities, considering best practices, industry standards, and emerging trends.

    5. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights, validate assumptions, and ensure buy-in for proposed TOM solutions.

    6. Develop implementation plans, timelines, and resource requirements to support the rollout of the TOM, coordinating activities across multiple business units and functions.

    7. Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the TOM and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

    8. Serve as a subject matter expert on Target Operating Model (TOM) methodologies, tools, and best practices, offering insights and recommendations to senior management as needed.

    What we are looking for:

    Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on developing and implementing Target Operating Models (TOM) within complex organisations.

    Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions and actionable plans.

    History of holding workshops with senior stakeholders, you will be working with the c-suite

    Experience in financial services is a plus.
