Responsibilities:

Post all income and expenditure transactions into the accounts package (currently Aqilla)
Process income including cash, cheques and online donations from various online giving platforms (e.g. JustGiving, PayPal, Shopify)
Reconcile income to the bank and to the fundraising/donor package (currently Raiser's Edge)
Post purchase invoices, credit cards and undertaking regular payment runs
Performing bank reconciliations on all accounts
Raise sales invoices and chase outstanding debtors
Prepare and post monthly accruals and prepayments, and support in the preparation of the Monthly Management Report
Provide budget holders with monthly updates
Minimum of AAT level 3 (or equivalent, or qualified by experience)
At least 2 years' experience in a finance role
Experience of taking accounts processes to Trial Balance stage
Experience of CRM (fundraising/donor) packages (Raiser's Edge desirable) and accounting packages (Aqilla desirable)

Experience of dealing with legacies
Experience with working in the third sector
Previous line management experience
Competent Driver with a full clean driving licence
