    Are you looking for a new Head of Product opportunity? Do you have experience in the payments sector? At Thredd we are seeking a personable and adaptable Head of product to support our growing team. As a Head of Product your primary focus will be to define and execute a product roadmap and ensuring the timely delivery of new products and modifications as requested.

    Responsibilitiesfor this role

  • Lead product development processes from ideation through to post-implementation customer feedback, ensuring continuous improvement and addressing customer needs. Manage and rationalize existing products to ensure their ongoing relevance and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of Product to define and implement a comprehensive product vision and strategy, including a customer experience roadmap. Ensure new products have effective go-to-market strategies and develop a business-aligned product roadmap for payments.
  • Set and lead the achievement of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for product lines. Provide day-to-day guidance and support to a team of Product Managers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical designs, specifications, epics, and user stories.
  • Lead and empower the product management team through coaching, mentoring, and resource allocation. Foster a data-driven culture within the team for prioritization and decision-making.
  • Ensure scalable collaboration with engineering teams for efficient requirement prioritization and sprint delivery. Oversee end-to-end product delivery, managing cross-functional team impacts and preparing for product launch. Maintain and update internal documentation and product collateral.
  • Develop and manage key supplier relationships at both operational and strategic levels. Regularly communicate progress and proactively manage issues. Participate actively in the Product leadership team, promoting company values and the visibility of the Product team internally and externally.
  • Monitor product metrics, assessing overall performance and making data-driven decisions. Understand and manage product costs, contributing to pricing strategies.

  • Communication and Leadership: Outstanding communication skills in both written and verbal forms, paired with the proven capability to lead and organize a Product Team across various experience levels and workstreams. Skilled in ensuring clear and effective interactions across all levels of the organization.
  • Passion for Learning and Innovation: A deep passion for FinTech, with a commitment to continuous learning, education, and staying abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Commitment to deeply understanding users through various methods such as research, interviews, data analysis, and usability testing.
  • Analytical and Detail-Oriented: Exceptional analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Payments Sector Experience: Must have experience in the payments sector, demonstrating a strong understanding of the dynamics and challenges in this field.
  • Product Management in FinTech: Proven track record in a product-centric role within a financial technology environment, showcasing the ability to innovate and drive product success.
  • Customer Portals and External Products: Experience in developing Customer Portals and products for external customers.
  • Payments Landscape Knowledge: Solid understanding of the payments landscape and associated domains such as identity and access management, user experience, and customer portals.
  • Product Development Methodologies: Familiarity with customer journey mapping and design sprints, employing these methods to enhance product development and user experience.
  • SaaS or Financial Services Experience: Experience in managing Customer or User Experience functions within complex SaaS or Financial Services organizations, with the ability to lead day-to-day operations while also maintaining a long-term vision and strategy.
