Fulltime Job 5 Days a week

Responsibilities:


  • Assist teachers in providing individualized support to students with special needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular updates to teachers and parents
  • Assist with the adaptation of materials and activities to meet the needs of students with special needs
  • Provide oneonone and small group instruction as needed
  • Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:


  • Experience working with students with special needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy and a positive attitude
  • Experience with IEPs and special education laws and regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field is a plus
