Fulltime Job 5 Days a week
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in providing individualized support to students with special needs
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and provide regular updates to teachers and parents
- Assist with the adaptation of materials and activities to meet the needs of students with special needs
- Provide oneonone and small group instruction as needed
- Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Experience working with students with special needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Patience, empathy and a positive attitude
- Experience with IEPs and special education laws and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field is a plus
