Contract:
Permanent -term-time only


Hours/ Working Pattern:37 hours per week - (Part time/Full time will be considered)

Monday - Thursday 08:00-16:00 Friday 08:00-15:30


Salary / Hourly Rate:
Grade CD1 SCP 3 -£22,737- £23,114 pro rata, per annum

Our Opportunity


Our IT Services Team are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Administrator to join our friendly team and work across all the schools within our Trust.


Based at Scalby School, you will be the heart of the IT Team monitoring our Service Desk, organising the team calendar, updating our intranet and supporting our projects through procurement and communications.


You should have:

  • Evidence of working in a busy administrative environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and admin systems
  • Ability to build and form good relationships with colleagues and external agencies
  • Ability to work constructively as part of a team

About Us


The Trust Central Team works on behalf of the Trust Board to ensure that the Trust academies perform at the highest educational levels for both staff and students, while providing a safe environment, and adhering to statutory and legal requirements.

The trust's Director of Learning oversees the educational provision which includes School Improvement Directors and the Scarborough Teaching Alliance.


The trust's Chief Operating Officer oversees the non-educational side of the Trust with teams responsible for Finance, HR, Premises and IT.

The Trust was founded by Scalby Secondary School but has grown over the last few years to include Newby and Scalby Primary School, Friarage Community Primary School,Scarborough University Technical College (SUTC), Filey Secondary School, and Lady Lumley's Secondary School in Pickering.

JOB PURPOSE:


  • To provide administrative support to the Trust IT Services Team and assist with support enquiries.
  • The postholder will monitor systems and report/assign work to technical colleagues following the department processes

ACCOUNTABILITIES / MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


Operational Issues

  • Monitor the IT Service Desk and assign and escalate tickets in line with the department processes and SLA
  • Monitor and audit SharePoint permissions.
  • Coordinates the IT Services Team
  • To support processes such as Compliance, Procurement and Communication under the remit of the appropriate team manager.
  • Contributing to the overall ethos, work and aims of the Trust
  • Adhere to the safeguarding of students and staff regulations.

  • Establish and maintain good relationships with all staff, students, visitors and suppliers.
