Myton Park Primary School is a community centred school in Ingleby Barwick. Our school environment is a very caring and nurturing one in which the child is at the centre of everything we do. We are proud of our inclusive approach and are passionate about providing the best possible education for our children. We are also an Enhanced Mainstream School operating a 10 place SEND base for children with cognition and learning needs.

We are now seeking to appoint a class teacher to join our current team in our Year 6 class. The successful applicant will be highly motivated and a strong team player.

The successful candidate will:

Have a secure knowledge of the relevant curriculum;

Be committed to their own professional development;

Champion the ethos of the school at all times;

Have the ability to be flexible;

Have high expectations of children's learning and be able to demonstrate excellent classroom practice;

Demonstrate high expectations of positive behaviour for learning;

Work collaboratively with a committed team of staff and governors, parents and the wider community;

Have a desire to be involved in all aspects of school life, being willing to go the extra mile for the benefit of our children and the community.
