Role Description:


About the Role


The role exists to ensure that Cranfield University and all parallel company staff, including visiting lecturers are paid accurately and on time, with all relevant tax and pension deductions having been made in line with legislation and pension regulations.


About You
The ability to communicate clearly and articulately with staff at all levels and provide and excellent customer service.

You must have excellent numeric and analytical skills, and be able to prioritise your own workload as well as work under pressure.

The role of the Finance Professional Service Unit is to ensure that all financial data is processed to enable payments to be made and received accurately and timely and that relevant, timely and reliable information is available to all stakeholders.

This covers the University and subsidiary companies (Cranfield Management Development Ltd, Cranfield Innovative Manufacturing Ltd, Cranfield Engineering Innovations Ltd, Cranfield Quality Services Ltd, Cranfield Group Holdings Ltd and Cranfield Airport Operations Ltd.


Our Payroll and Pension team are responsible for ensuring that the University and any subsidiary company staff are paid accurately and on time with all the relevant tax and pensions deductions having been made in line with current legislation and pension regulations.
