Sheffield Teaching Hospitals are offering the exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and conscientious individuals to start a career in Healthcare Science.

You will undertake a Level 2 Healthcare Science Apprenticeship in 1 of 2 areas of Healthcare Science; we have vacancies in the Laboratory Medicine Directorate and in the Respiratory Physiology Department.

Through the Healthcare Science apprenticeship programme you will learn the knowledge, skills and behaviours appropriate to a level 2 Healthcare Science Assistant, whilst also studying towards a level 2 BTEC diploma in Healthcare Science in collaboration with The Sheffield College.

Typically, each year over 80% of all apprentices completing apprenticeships within Sheffield Teaching Hospitals go on to work with us.
