Daisy Street are looking for a Garment Technologist to join our growing team in Manchester.

Responsibilities

• Measure, fit and grade samples.
• Fitting samples confidently on a mannequin or a fit model
• Check production samples.
• Creating detailed workbooks.
• Sending comments to factories.
• Chasing samples with factories.
• Following the critical path, keeping critical path up to date and ensuring delivery dates are met.
• Looking after your own accounts and supporting other tech and design team members where necessary.
• Checking and approving fabrics, test reports and inspections.
• Managing customer fit samples and parcels.
• Other duties as required.

Skills Required:

• Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position.
• Have experience fitting and measuring ladieswear
• Have experience working on a wholesale account
• Must be organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must work well in a team and independently.
• Good experience and skills in Microsoft Excel are required
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
• Team player with the ability to also work on own initiative.
• Agility to move between tasks with ease

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Failsworth, Manchester

Salary: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person flexitime
