Who we are

People have always been at the heart of St.

James's Place, we value long-term relationships and we are a home for people who care about the future - financially, environmentally and socially.

These core values have enabled us to become a leading FTSE 100 Wealth Management company.

Location:
Hybrid (Cirencester office 2 days p/wk)

Employment Type:
Permanent

The talent acquisition team has had great success in moving to a direct hire model.

We have considerably reduced third party agency spend and really turned the dial on our aim to support our organisation in becoming a more diverse and representative community.

We have done this through hard work, determination and using our refreshed brand to tell the story not only of who we are as a company, but also what's important to us as an employer.

As a business with leading responsible ambitions we know we have a lot to be proud of and taking this message to market is a really rewarding part of the talent team's responsibility.

As we continue to grow and invest in our business we need to build out our talent acquisition team to help SJP meet its 2025 strategy and beyond.

We are looking for someone to help us attract the best talent within two of our key business areas - our investment management team and our COTO department which includes technology, data and some of our more technical advice teams.

What you'll be doing:

  • You'll manage (endtoend) an ongoing caseload of around 15+ vacancies within the business areas you're responsible for.
  • Develop solid relationships with hiring managers within your business areas to understand their current and ongoing recruitment requirements.
  • Build strong talent pools to support our direct attraction strategy.
  • Advise Hiring Managers on job appropriate psychometrics and testing (ideally SHL qualified).
  • Minimise spend on third party agencies, identifying cost efficiencies whilst ensuring quality is not compromised.
  • Contribute to the delivery of talent acquisition projects.

Who we're looking for:

  • Significant demonstrable experience as a talent acquisition specialist, ideally gained both inhouse and via a professional services agency.
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage 15+ specialist vacancies in a fastpaced environment, ensuring efficient delivery against agreed timescales.
  • Experienced in leading and advising on competency based interviews.
  • Qualified In psychometric assessments (desirable).
  • Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and confidence in dealing with individuals at all levels (facetoface, by telephone and online).

We will be looking for someone with a razor sharp focus on ensuring we are recruiting the right people to deliver good outcomes for our Partners and their clients.
