School Administrator required for October 2023 (or as soon as possible) Shaw Hill Primary School is a very friendly and successful school and continues to be rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted in March 2023.
This is an essential role in the operation of our busy school and includes responsibility for:
- running a busy reception and being a point of contact for visitors
- managing accurate records of pupils
- updating management information systems
- maintaining Free School Meal eligibility records
- income collection and following banking procedures
- postal duties
- LEA Returns
- to include duties as may be commensurate with the grade and nature of the post
We are looking for a reliable, flexible, and friendly individual who has the passion and energy to work in our busy school team.
Most importantly, you will help drive on the community's vision of our primary school and become part of a committed office team that serves all pupils and staff.
You will need to have excellent communication, organisational, and customer service skills, and be competent in the use of a variety of IT systems.
We are a forward-thinking team and require a colleague who can work collaboratively with others and be a welcoming presence for visitors and our friendly Shaw Hill community.
You will need to be able to form positive relationships with our children, staff, parents, governors, and visitors.You will need to be flexible, with a willingness to work across all sites of the school, responding to priorities and problem solving as required.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
