A Social Media Executive is responsible for the day-to-day management of client accounts, writing copy, making visual assets and publishing/scheduling.

You will then report on the performance of this content and explain why this happened, what should stay the same to maintain and what should change to improve results.

You will attend client-facing meetings and input alongside a Senior Executive or Manager.


In line with our team vision, we want everyone in the team to be invested in creative thinking, so you will also be expected to flex your creative muscle, coming up with content ideas and keeping across the latest trends, working with your manager to turn these ideas into client-facing work.


What you will be doing- Support the Social Media Manager and/or Senior Executive with editorial planning, publishing and content creation.- Copywriting for social media posts.- Create visual assets (static and video) using Adobe Suite, Canva or another suitable tool.- Capture and develop creative video and photographic content, to feed into client Social Media plans.- Schedule and/or publish all client content across social media channels and/or scheduling tools.- Take ownership of day-to-day client communications and be the first port of call for queries around content planning - seeking support from managers as necessary.- Contribute towards social media strategies for clients.- Performance analysis of the content published and competitors, compiling and delivering reports to clients.- Keeping up with social media trends (filters, sounds, hashtags, formats).- Sharing content ideas that match our team vision and keep clients at the forefront of creativity.- Take greater ownership of organic social & influencer responsibilities on key clients.- Contribute to campaign spend trackers alongside Social Media Manager and/or Senior Executive and ensure that all projects run within projected spend parameters.- Liaise with relevant agency partners (eg.

TRIBE, Gleam and Falcon reps) to ensure the smooth running of client activations.- Have an interest in the influencer marketing space and be an active consumer of creator content.- Demonstrate strategic and inclusive influencer selection, which considers campaign KPIs and be responsible for delivery against set objectives.- Coordinate end-to-end influencer activations, with support from the Social Media Manager, to action the following: prospecting of brand-aligned talent, brief creation, influencer liaison, fee negotiation, influencer contracting, supplier set up and reporting.- Have an awareness of essential ASA guidelines and relevant AD disclosures needed when activating influencer content.- Build strong relationships with talent and talent management teams, representing client and agency interests in a friendly and professional manner.- Be responsible for the upkeep of influencer campaign trackers and liaise regularly with the Social Media Manager to monitor ongoing performance.- Take a proactive approach to campaign coordination, driving delivery from an internal, client and influencer perspective, ensuring that campaigns run within budget and to agreed timelines.

Person Specification- At least 2 years' experience of social media marketing- A team player, whilst being able to work independently- Excellent writing skills- Confident in content creation - both capturing and editing- An understanding of social media channels and an eagerness to keep on top of updates- Understanding or experience of using scheduling tools such as Falcon, Sprout Social and Sprinklr- Experience of fast-paced work environment across multiple accounts- Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills- Takes pride in attention to detail on all tasks- Strong data analysis skills

We offer flexible working conditions and on a hybrid basis. The team are based out of our Manchester office.
