What you will be doing:


  • Inspecting the returned products and managing the quality return process
  • Use of CMM, gauges and other metrology devices to carry out inspections
  • Processing SDNRs (Supplier Deviation Notification Requests)
  • Managing customer complaints using CRM system and 8D methodology
  • Working with other departments, supervisors, and suppliers to establish root cause and proactively resolve quality issues
  • Track all resolutions of nonconformances
  • Maintain product traceability records
  • AS9100 QMS
  • Conduct quality audits and produce reports on findings
  • Updating and maintaining the documentation and SOP's
  • PSW, certificates and declarations of conformity
  • Developing a 'Zero Defect' approach to Quality
  • Calibration of measuring equipment
  • Delivering quality training to staff

About you:


  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in a production/manufacturing environment
  • Experience in 8D Methodology
  • Ability to produce FMEA (Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) reports
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to use Nonconformance reporting (NCR) systems & MIE Trak
