full-fibre broadband provider on a mission to transform the South of England's internet experience by delivering the fastest broadband, so homes, businesses, public services, and community groups can experience its life-changing full-fibre connectivity.


We have a bold plan to open its network to more than a million premises across the South of England over the next 10 years and want to play an active role in helping the communities around the area to thrive.


Due to the success of our business, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic
Junior In-Life Planner tobuild their career within the fibre world.

This is an exciting new role for those who are to build upon some previous telecoms experience or keen to learn new skills and develop on a on a pathway to become a full In-Life Planner.


As our
Junior In-Life Planner you'll support the wider Planning team daily, shadow mentors, and take on In-Life Planning tasks with scope for more accountability.

You'll be learning essential analytical and design skills 'on the job' with the target of being competent within 12 months across the following:


  • Infill Network Design
  • Where there is a demand to provide service to:
  • New builds within existing 'live' areas
  • Resolve failed installs.
  • Enable Business installs
  • Enable MDU builds
  • Review, resolve, and record operational 'Change Requests,' submitted from the field


  • Diversionary Planning

  • Following C2-C9 NRSWA guidelines
  • Review asbuilt submissions from contract partners to ensure we have a full, 'end to end' picture of how the network has been built
  • Use the Smallworld Asset Management system to design and record all inhouse Planning solutions (Diversions/New Devs/Capacity Planning/Upgrades).

What you'll bring to toob:


  • Enthusiasm, a keen to learn new skills within a dynamic industry
  • Aptitude for learning quickly with onthejob, practical training
  • Great communication skills
  • An eye for detail, and a determination to get things right first time
  • Proficient user of Microsoft office apps
  • You are a team player and can build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Live within a commutable distance to Portsmouth HQ and willing to travel to our sites
  • Have the right to work in the UK without restriction
  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence
  • Basic knowledge of PIA 'Ducts and Poles Access' preferable, but not essential.
