Due to team expansion, an opportunity has become available for a Community Recruitment Business Partner to join our resourcing team.


This is a new role that has been created to support the delivery of one of our population health goals; to work with partners to improve the health, wealth & well-being of our local communities through wideningaccess to quality employment and work.


The successful postholder will work closely with our local community based partners, Imperial Charity, Population Health Team and the Learning and Development and Recruitment Teams to develop and manage our approach to maximizing routes to employment and education for our local population including developing and growing relationships with NWL youth, community and other partner organisations to widen access to employment and education.

  • Ensure the Trust is being innovative and creative, setting itself apart from other healthcare providers in order to attract the very best of our local population to work at Imperial
  • Develop and grow relationships with NWL youth, community and other partner organisations to widen access to employment and education.
  • Working alongside Imperial Charity and our work experience team grow a pipeline of future talent
  • Working alongside our learning and development teams to develop and promote learning opportunities e.g. interview preparation to widen access to Imperial opportunities
  • Develop key retention initiatives

Community Resourcing

  • Working with Recruitment and Learning and Development Teams, develop and grow our approach to widening access to employment and education opportunities at Imperial for our North West London (NWL) population
  • Develop and lead resourcing campaigns designed to attract people from our local community
  • Work in partnership with our marketing and communication teams to develop new campaigns designed with, and for, people from our local community
  • Scope and recommend resourcing approaches that ensure wide access to opportunities
  • Identify local networks, schools and other institutions to explore opportunities to partner
  • Work in partnership with our local work experience teams and the Imperial Charity team to develop pipelines of future talent
  • Lead on such projects and initiatives that will develop and promote the Trust employment brand so that the Trust becomes the local employer of choice, instigating and implementing new processes and 'fit for purpose' technical systems that increase departmental efficiency
  • Work with your recruitment colleagues to set up joiner and stay surveys in order to generate meaningful data on the experience of new joiners and those with less than one year's service
  • Develop policies and technical procedures which have an impact across the Trust and provide highly specialist resourcing advice and share industry knowledge, skills and expertise
  • Engage in continual service improvement, measuring performance against contracts and Service Level Agreements and taking remedial action to ensure delivery of a high level of client satisfaction
  • Provide timely data and information on the progress of recruitment plans including tracking deployment, onboarding, time to hire and other KPIs
Networking and communication

  • Foster strong working partnerships with community, youth and other local organisations to create new, and grow existing, routes to employment and education for our local population
  • Facilitate and maintain close links between staff, managers and external stakeholders in growing this programme and develop intern
