Key Responsibilities:


  • Supervising students in the classroom and ensuring they remain on task and focused on their learning
  • Following preset lesson plans provided by absent teachers
  • Providing feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour
  • Maintaining classroom discipline and ensuring students adhere to school policies
  • Dealing with any student queries or concerns that arise during the lesson
  • Ensuring that all students are safe and secure at all times
  • Building positive relationships with students and staff

Requirements:


  • A degree or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience working in a school environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with challenging behaviour
