Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising students in the classroom and ensuring they remain on task and focused on their learning
- Following preset lesson plans provided by absent teachers
- Providing feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour
- Maintaining classroom discipline and ensuring students adhere to school policies
- Dealing with any student queries or concerns that arise during the lesson
- Ensuring that all students are safe and secure at all times
- Building positive relationships with students and staff
Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working in a school environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with challenging behaviour
