    We're working with a corporate finance boutique who are leading the way in putting social impact and ethics at the heart of everything they do.

    The team has been incredibly successful over the last few years and has moved into 2024 with an impressive pipeline. Having built a strong foundational team of c.12 people, they're now looking for their next fundamental hire - a corporate finance associate director/senior manager.

    The role of the corporate finance associate director/senior manager is to both execute on existing transactions as well as developing existing and new clients. The team works on UK and international buy-side, sell-side and fund-raising projects, with transaction sizes typically between £10m-£100m.

    You may be a senior manager or associate director looking for an environment where you can have more autonomy, more visibility and responsibility over the transaction process. The team is looking for somebody with the appetite to work towards building their own client-base in addition to executing on current live transactions.

    Requirements for the role

    • Qualified Accountant or equivalent experience
    • Over 5 years' proven experience of managing and leading transactions from origination through to completion
    • An appetite for business development with new and existing clients
    • An ability to translate numbers into easy to digest information for clients
    • Able to lead client meetings and actively contribute to pitches

    Mergers & acquisitions experience is paramount to this role, and the team is open to candidates that don't perhaps fit the traditional corporate finance mould. You will however need to have demonstratable experience of developing clients and the appetite to win new business.

    You'll be supported by a wonderful team within a great culture, where people are put at the heart of everything they do. If you're fed up with the typical advisory environment, this could well be the role for you.

    The team is based near Reading and are usually in the office for c.2 days per week, however they're happy if the the successful candidate is not local, to work remotely and visit the office ad hoc.
