Our client is looking for an Academy Training & Technical Support Specialist on a permanent, staff basis, located in Aberdeen.
ROLE
The role is one of the key functions within the Service Academy Training organisation delivering to both customers and internal staff:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accredited technical training to internal & external customers on assigned devices / care area / product line.
- Specialised service support on assigned devices / care area / product line to internal & external customers.
- Level 2 Specialist for region EN on devices / care area / product line providing advice, training and escalation.
- To meet & exceed the expectations of all customers whether internal or external
- To ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing responsive, high quality service, sales, training for company products
- To promote company training, products and services
- Represents specialised support on assigned devices / care area / product line
- Provides courses (prepare and perform training) & documentation for technical training both internal & external at required locations & customer sites
- Support technical corrective actions for own devices / care area / product line
- Identifies specialist tools needed by service engineers or customers
- Feedback quality situation and issues on specific devices to Quality Department
- Performs sophisticated support in the field, preferably whilst coaching
- Provides support to sales for offers / quotations / tenders
- Responsible for problem solving within competency or escalation as appropriate
- Assist Service Director or Business Development to assess prices of services (in discussion with marketing) based on required capacity, margin and competition
- Maintains communication & documentation relevant to the quality system & process landscape
- Remain updated on new market developments within related Industry
- Involvement in management of incident reporting
- Internal training products, updates on existing devices
- Complete offsite assessments as necessary to approve facilities
REQUIREMENTS
- A recognised teacher training program qualification such as City & Guilds course PTLLS & 6304 CTLLS Post Graduate Certificate in Education or equivalent or be willing to attend a relevant course
- To hold or be able to hold offshore certificates
- Significant related experience in appropriate industry sector
- High level technical & practical knowledge
