    Property Manager - Vauxhall

    At JOHNS&CO our Property Management department is rapidly growing, so we are actively recruiting for likeminded individuals to join a high performing team Successful candidates will be based in our Vauxhall Office (SE11 7AW).

    We know when working in a sales environment that administrative and support teams can be overlooked, but here at JOHNS&CO we recognize their crucial role as the driving force. The team are known for providing outstanding customer service and building strong partnerships with clients daily. All our Property Managers are provided with a phone, laptop and will have the opportunity to carry out their ARLA qualification. This is in addition to our extensive list of company benefits.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage a portfolio of circa 175 residential properties
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and tenants.
    • Manage maintenance issues and organise timely repairs; coordinating with external vendors and contractors
    • Develop and implement strategies that maximise financial performance to meet and exceed goals.
    • Chase rental arrears
    • Negotiate deposit returns and disputes
    • Ensure the smooth termination of tenancy agreements and prepare properties to be re-lets

    Person Attributes and Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Property Manager in residential real estate
    • Proven experience in personally managing a residential portfolio
    • Naturally builds and maintains relationships
    • Excellent communicator and committed to providing a high level of customer service
    • Passionate and eager to progress your career as a Property Manager
    • Highly organised and a composed demeanour
    • ARLA Accreditation (Desirable)
