    We are looking to speak to Assistant Human Resources Directors regarding a new Associate People Director position within Commercial Services Group (CSG)

    CSG is one of the largest providers of public sector and education procurement services globally, with revenues of over £500m, 1800 staff and six trading divisions: Global Education Supplies, Procurement, Energy & Carbon, Community Services, Professional Services and People Services.

    Wholly owned by Kent County Council, CSG supports over 15,000 customers in 86 countries and collaborates with a supply chain of c1,000 suppliers.

    As a vital member of the Senior Leadership Team in People Culture and Communications, this role will serve as the primary authority on people management and employee relations throughout the organisation.

    The role encompasses assisting the Chief People Officer in shaping and strategising both the People Strategy and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Strategy, fostering close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

    Collaborating closely with various members of the broader People Culture and Communications team, ensuring that the approach to people management is proactive, person-centred, and equitable, while exemplifying organisational values and standards of behaviour.

    Contributing to insights on people management and DEI practices to inform and enhance organisational activities.

    Additionally, developing resources and guidance to promote understanding and advancement of people management and DEI principles among colleagues across the organisation.

    Leading a proficient team comprising HR Managers, People Relationship Managers, and DEI specialists, this role with guide and empower them to excel in their respective roles.

    Knowledge of best practice in both public and private sector.
