Summary:


Our client, a well-known UK Logistics company are looking to add an Operations Agent to their wider freight operations team to act as a liaison between customers and suppliers and offer high levels of customer service.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Handle inbound calls, addressing inquiries efficiently.
  • Complete Air Waybills (AWBs) accurately and promptly.
  • Manage Customs Entries to ensure compliance and smooth processing.
  • Coordinate Courier Shipments effectively.
  • Maintain Boxtop and other systems with current information.
  • Engage in proactive problemsolving to address challenges as they arise.
  • Foster effective communication with our Handling Agent to facilitate smooth operations.

Skills & Experience:


  • Demonstrates outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, adept at establishing rapport with both new and established customers.
  • Possesses robust problemsolving skills and can readily adjust to evolving circumstances.
  • Exhibits a collaborative mindset, capable of effectively working with internal and external stakeholders as part of a team.
  • Highly proactive, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Displays strong negotiation skills, leveraging them with customers and hauliers to optimise profitability.
