    Overview of the role:

    An opportunity has become available within the Total Cost of Ownership team within JCB Service, for a TCO Manager. Bundled services such as extended warranty and Service Contracts, are now commonplace in both the Construction and Agricultural Machine marketplace and represent a significant opportunity for us to drive growth with JCB Service. In this role, the TCO Manager will work strategically alongside key machinery sales regions to ensure JCB and their distributors are competitively positioned to provide the best possible ownership experience for the customer, through offering a range of extended warranty and Service Contracts.

    Your Responsibilities as a TCO Manager:

    As TCO Manager, your role will be to drive the growth of JCB's Aftermarket Services, including Extended Warranty and Service Contracts, to JCB's Global Distributor network and Subsidiaries. Your key responsibilities will be to:

    · Responsible for JCB's global aftermarket contract business programs focused on Planned Maintenance, Extended Warranty and Repair and Maintenance Programs.

    · Responsible for the maintenance and development of Sales Support Tools, to assist JCB's dealer network with quoting extended warranty and servicing contracts.

    · Improve JCB's brand image by offering a range of industry leading products and services to JCB's Subsidiaries and Dealer network.

    · Work closely alongside JCB's Subsidiary and Dealer network, which will include regular interaction, to manage and motivate key stakeholders responsible for decision making.

    · New Product Introduction Process – You will play a key role in the introduction of new JCB Products to ensure the lowest possible owning and operating costs.

    · Conduct competitor benchmarking on owning and operating costs, to ensure JCB Products represent the best possible value.

    · Lead the team and transformation to offering advanced services incorporating extended warranty and service contracts.

    About you:

    Taking ownership of a product which is key to the future success of our business demands a highly focussed individual with strong leadership skills who can embody the restless drive to make our business something to be proud of.

    You'll need a good understanding of extended warranty, maintenance contracts and the competitive landscape for these products in agriculture, construction, and industrial settings.

    You will have experience in developing and leading customer support strategies via a dealer distribution network and enjoy communicating with customers and dealers alike.

    Cooperating with other departments across our business, you will be an excellent communicator able to make technical information understandable while promoting packaged services as a defining factor in the future of our business. You will also need to be a good listener, able to understand the needs and concerns of our customers and make them a central focus in future product development.

    Education: BEng Engineering or similar (preferred but not essential)

    Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.

    High levels of commercial acumen.

    Strong interpersonal skills; written, verbal and listening.

    Ability to effectively manage and maintain peer and business relationships with a high degree of integrity and trust.

    Ability to travel as required with the role.

    Field experience, working with dealers and distributors.

    Experience working with other Construction or agricultural equipment manufacturers preferred.
