    Are you looking for a highly visible procurement leadership role that allows you to shape supplier strategy, directly influence GSK's most critical IT investment considerations, and drive positive outcomes globally & at scale?     As Global Procurement Director, you'll join a group of experienced IT procurement professionals aligned with supporting our Chief Technology Officer and his leadership team to deliver on their strategic imperatives whilst driving significant savings and maximizing value for GSK.

    This Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Global Support Function (GSF) focused role will provide the opportunity to lead, shape, and execute upon critical sourcing and negotiation strategies supporting technology investments across GSK's Core Technology, Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Procurement and Corporate organizational towers.

    This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following...
    • Partner with the Global Product & Technology (GP&T) leadership team to understand and influence the tech strategy and gain visibility of how best Procurement can support to deliver their strategic priorities
    • Create strategies to deliver targeted commercial benefits and develop new & innovative ways to uncover broader opportunities
    • Manage and mentor junior staff to curate the development of GSK's next generation of procurement leaders
    • Lead high profile negotiations with large enterprise supplier partners, delivering maximum commercial benefit whilst ensuring business needs are met
    • Create, refresh and implement new or existing category strategies for each of the assigned sub-categories
    • Manage senior level stakeholders and challenge thinking, strategy or decisions by bringing strong commercial knowledge and market insights to bear
    • Drive Procurement level initiatives including; supplier diversity and inclusion, improvements to working capital, sustainability, and guided buying
    Why you? Basic Qualifications:
    We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Track record of technology procurement experience
    • Excellent experience with strategic sourcing methodologies, best practices, and use of enterprise procure-to-pay platforms
    • Demonstrated experience working with global providers of ERP application software, managed technology services
    Preferred Qualifications:
    If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
    • Master's degree in Business, Technology, Mathematics, or Supply Chain Management
    • Strong Risk Management Experience
    • Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills
    • Experience managing executive level stakeholders
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
