What we do makes a genuine difference to families, businesses and communities, and we're playing a central role in building a growing UK economy.

Our brands, our services and our business span every aspect of banking and finance, including some of the biggest names on the UK's high streets.

That gives us a big responsibility to support the UK economy, and we have a clear strategy to put customers first.

Job Description:

We have a brilliant opportunity for someone with a curious, analytical and proactive approach to join the Chief Digital Office, working closely alongside our Digital Devices & Experience and Mass Affluent labs.

This role in the Digital Relationship Growth team will involve getting under the skin of digital journeys and experiences to improve them for our customers and unlock increased business value.

You'll join the team at a very exciting time as we drive forward our ambition to transform our mobile app experience to deepen trust and valued relationships across our active base of 17m customers.

We'll do this by delivering journeys that are more relevant, personalised and joined-up than ever.

What you'll do in this role:

  • Take ownership for identifying and implementing improvements across a set of digital customer journeys, including the app homepage, navigation, account management and the new digital Mass Affluent proposition
  • Shape, articulate and embed our team's vision and roadmap — incorporating Group strategy, platform OKRs and depth of relationship ambitions
  • Lead management of data, analytics and reporting for our journeys (including tagging, optimisation, testing and storytelling)
  • Collaborate and build great relationships with squads of experts including product owners, analytics, communications, engagement and customer experience to help solve complex and contentious problems
  • Support the management of risk and conduct profiles for our journeys to keep customers and the business safe
  • Work across the wider team to help us develop and perform to our full potential by contributing to a positive growth culture

We'll be looking for these skills:

  • Passion for combining strategy and data to uncover opportunities to improve customer and commercial outcomes
  • Expertise in forecasting, reporting and managing performance to targets
  • Ability to influence business decisions through engaging storytelling and crafting compelling cases for change
  • Collaboration across multiple teams to deliver high quality outcomes with positive and measurable impacts
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to consider multiple perspectives in order to develop solutions that customers love

The following would also be beneficial:

  • Proven experience in a product management, eCommerce or digital performance role
  • Capability with tools such as Adobe Analytics and Tableau

Location & ways of working:

The team is based in central London therefore our preference is that you're based in this location however we can consider any of our key hubs across Bristol, Halifax and Leeds for the right person.

We're happy to consider options for agile working.
