The Role:

As an Outreach Tutor at New Way Tuition Ltd, you'll be a guiding light for students in need of academic support. We are seeking committed individuals to join us in providing education and guidance to students facing challenges in mainstream education due to various reasons.

This role offers great job satisfaction, involving one-on-one and group sessions in subjects like Math, English, PSHE, interventions, and mentoring, conducted at students' homes, local libraries, and schools. Candidates should have a solid grasp of Literacy and Math, as well as experience working with children, including those with special educational needs. Our students range from EYFS to Year 11, and we teach up to GCSE/Functional Skills levels. A current Enhanced DBS is a must.

Your responsibility involves:

• Providing personalized tutoring sessions to students of various ages and skill levels.
• Inspiring and motivating students to overcome challenges and achieve their academic aspirations.
• Establishing strong connections with students and their families through effective communication and genuine care.
• Adapting teaching approaches to suit each student's unique learning styles and requirements.
• Integrating innovative educational technology and tools to enrich the learning process.

Qualifications:

• Previous tutoring or teaching experience, particularly with diverse age groups.
• QTS (QTLS), PGCE, or a Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Math, or a related field (Preferred but not mandatory).

• Patience, empathy, and a sincere dedication to student success.
• Flexibility to adjust teaching methods according to individual student needs.
