    Cleaner (2 Positions Available)

    Glebefields Primary School is a two form-entry primary school in Tipton for children from 3 to 11 years of age.

    We are looking to recruit two cleaners to join our current team to ensure standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained within our school. You will need to be diligent, efficient and professional. Also, it is essential that you have the ability to work effectively as part of a team under the direction of our Site Manager.

    Previous experience of working in schools would be preferable but not essential as training can be given.

    Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) clearance is required for this role.

    This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is eligible for an enhanced DBS check including a Children's Barring List Check. If you are barred from working with children you are breaking the law if you apply for this post.

    This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

    Hours: 18.5 hours a week (52 Weeks)

    Grade: Band A point 2 £22,366 pro rata – Actual Salary - £11,183 per annum

    Location: Glebefields Primary School, Sandgate Road, Tipton, West Midlands, DY4 0SX
