Job summary
Ryalls Park Medical Centre have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner tojoin their supportive Nursing Team on a permanent basis.
The hours are 26 hours per week, working Monday to Friday working at Ryalls Park and Oaklands Surgery in Yeovil. Working pattern to be discussed at interview.
Salary is dependent onexperience but ranges from between £40, - £59, per annum pro rata with a NHS or NEST pension offered.
You will be an experienced Nursewho will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking,clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of patient care. Youwill be able to demonstrate the ability to make differential diagnosis usingdecision making and problem solving skills whilst making professionalautonomous decisions for which you are accountable.
You will possess the ability towork independently and to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinaryteam with other health care professionals and disciplines, supporting thedelivery of policy and procedures.
NMC requirements for advancedpractice must be met.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be an experienced Nurse who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of patient care.
The post will holder will be able to demonstrate the ability to make differential diagnosis using decision making and problem solving skills whilst making professional autonomous decisions for which they are accountable. They will possess the ability to work independently and to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team with other health care professionals and disciplines, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures. NMC requirements for advanced practice must be met.

Job descriptionJob responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner will work within their professional boundaries; will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of their care. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care for patients within the general practice. They will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures. In order to work at this level, NMC requirements for advanced practice must be met.
