We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.


This role sits within the Ministry team which is part of the Cambridge Partnership for Education team within Cambridge International managing the administration tasks for the Ministry team.

The team works with ministries and national education bodies. We engage with governments to deliver educational reform contracts that support countries in raising their educational standards.

In some countries, we provide their national secondary school qualifications, or support the development of localised syllabuses and assessment systems.


About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide key administrative support underpinning the delivery of international Ministry contracts and you will play a key role in supporting the Head of

Educations Services:
Southeast Asia and the Assistant Education Contract Manager, who manage the delivery of existing large-scale ministry contracts.

Tasks include but are not limited to minute taking, providing support for team projects/contracts.

Working with SAP to raise Purchase Orders, manage goods receipting, formatting documents and assisting to arrange visits both in the UK and overseas.


About you


The role requires a task focused, organised and motivated individual with excellent administrative skills, someone who is keen to develop within a role, taking on extra challenges as they arise.

Someone who can work successfully as part of a team but also successfully when lone working and managing individual tasks.


The ability to effectively manage your workload is key, as is the ability to deal with more senior personnel in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

You must also be IT literate, with skills in Word and Excel in particular. Experience of working in an international context and the global education sector would be an advantage.

You will be required to work from our Cambridge office 1-2 days a week, unless clients are visiting us, in which case you will need to be onsite for every day of the visit.
