An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Site Manager to work for a reputable and well-established Social Housing Contractor who are undergoing a period of growth and have a healthy pipeline of work.

The company get regular, repeat business from Housing Providers across the region to provide planned maintenance services to tenanted properties across the Manchester region.

Reporting to a Site Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Managing a team Tradesman and Subcontractors
Ensuring works are being carried out to programme and within budget
Monitoring health and safety on site
Snagging of properties
Liaising with tenants and resolving any issues that may arise

Supervising subcontractors quality of workThe successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career background, with experience working for a Social Housing Contractor within tenanted properties as an Assistant Site Manager, Foreman or Supervisor.

You could either come from a trade background and have worked your way up the ranks into a managerial role or alternatively have come from an academic background with either a HNC or Degree in Construction Management or similar discipline.

You must hold a relevant CSCS card, SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid.
