- Educated to GCSE standard in both English and Maths
- Experience in logistics and customer service provision desirable
- Numerate, good communicator, team player and able to resolve problems
- Ability to respect strict deadlines and prioritise with good attention to detail
- IT literate, experience of SAP a bonus
- Receiving and processing customer orders and enter into SAP and making outbound calls, as required
- Liaising with haulier for optimal delivery and customer service performance
- Addressing specific documentation requests and customer service concerns, including formal complaints - and record quality / delivery deficiencies impacting customer satisfaction, service/complaint follow-ups and surveys
- Troubleshooting haulier deliveries.
- Daily review of haulier resource and planning.
- Maintaining relevant databases and use of CRM system, including for near miss reporting and follow-up
- Provide general support to the Commercial department
- Identifying process improvements
- Performing general administrative duties
