We require a Project Controller to join our MacLean International Projects team based in Altens, Aberdeen.

Reporting to the Projects Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for managing and coordinating project orders while maintaining good relations with our customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of purchase orders and expediting suppliers.
• Attend Project Kick-Off Meetings if required.
• Preparation of project shipping documentation including organising logistics.
• Arranging inspections.
• Preparation and submission of invoices.
• Provide Project Operations Manager with accurate forecasting of goods readiness through effective expediting and communication with suppliers
• May also be required to assist in the compilation of project bid packages.
• Ensure compliance with the quality business system.
• To ensure that all sales transactions are dealt with efficiently and professionally.
• To ensure that all records and files are accurately maintained.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Must be highly organised and self-motivated.
• Knowledge of electrical cables & bulks would be advantageous, but product training will be given.
• A clear understanding and track record in office administration.
• Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with colleagues, customers and suppliers at all levels.
• Ability to work under pressure calmly and professionally.
• A level of understanding of Quality Business Systems to company standards.
• Well-presented and a clear speaker.
• Computer literate, especially in Word and Excel.
