Anderson Knight is looking to recruit a PPM Planner on a full-time permanent basis for one of our clients based in the Gorbals.
As a PPM Planner you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by developing and managing a comprehensive planned preventive maintenance program.
You will work closely with maintenance teams and other stakeholders to schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, ultimately contributing to the reliability and efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a structured planned preventive maintenance (PPM) program for all equipment and facilities.
- Create detailed maintenance schedules, taking into consideration equipment downtime, resources, and operational needs.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks.
- Maintain an uptodate inventory of all assets, equipment, and systems requiring PPM.
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping of equipment history, maintenance procedures, and documentation.
- Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements or replacements as necessary.
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians and contractors to allocate resources for PPM activities.
- Monitor and adjust work assignments to optimize workforce efficiency.
- Procure necessary materials and spare parts for scheduled maintenance.
- Ensure that all PPM activities adhere to industry regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain documentation of safety procedures and protocols.
- Generate performance reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to assess the effectiveness of the PPM program.
- Analyse maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry advancements and incorporate new technologies and methodologies into the PPM program.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in planned preventive maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance management software and tools.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
