Credit Controller

Location - Dewsbury

Salary - Competitive

Job type - Fulltime, Permanent

Hybrid - Mon & Fri - WFH, Tue, Wed & Thu - In Office

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers and third parties by letter and telephone to ensure prompt payment of invoices whilst maintaining and strengthening existing relationships.
  • Work to monthly cash and overdue debt targets (set by management) in order to continually improve both debtor days and overdue debt profiles.
  • Keep accurate and up to date records of all debt chasing to ensure that all items are followed up and escalated where required
  • Keep sales and operations management teams informed of any potential issues with nonpayment of invoices
  • Identify issues and thereafter develop and implement solutions in conjunction with the Credit Control Supervisor.

What You Need

  • GCSE level education
  • Minimum 2 years' experience gained within a credit control environment
  • Large industrial sector with multi sites
  • Attention to detail
